Forming in 2022, NJ-based boyfriend-girlfriend duet Riversend features the talents of Olivia Horovitz (Vocals) and Zack Miranowic (Guitar, Bass, and Vocals). At its heart, the somber instrumentation and haunting harmonies crafted by Zack provide the perfect atmospheric setting for Olivia's ghostly vocals. Riversend's music possesses a captivating allure that draws listeners into a dreamy realm.
Inspired by ethereality, Riversend creates haunting melodies which boast a ghostly and melancholy atmosphere. So, naturally, their sound cannot be put into one specific pocket; the group's blend of ambient elements with rock, jazz, and blues steer them more toward the art rock or prog rock scene. Regardless, Riversend weaves a tapestry of sonic melancholia that resonates with listeners on a profound level.
After releasing a string of singles throughout 2022 and 2023, Riversend released their self-titled debut album on March 8th, 2024. With haunting vocals floating over moody guitar lines and ethereal ambience, the album “Riversend” brings to the table a very targeted listening experience that the pair hopes an audience can appreciate as something different.

One could say Zack is a musical nomad. When he's not writing for Riversend, you can find him playing lead guitar for heavy rock bands Sekond Skyn and Disciples of Verity (ft. Corey Glover of Living Colour and Corey Pierce of God Forbid). He also showcases his multi-faceted talents in his solo project, Zack Miranowic Music.
